| Abstract: | The author has found these organs in the following lame:[long dash]Culex (various species), Chironomus plumosus, Simulium, Psychoda, a Tipulid, Tabanus autumnalis, Eristalis (several species), 2 Syrphidae, and 2 Muscidae. He records his observations, according to which these organs appear to be generally very similar in structure in the various species which possess them. |
