MEXICO, Tampico; 17.1912, (E.A.Schwartz)female (not associated with pupal exuviae) [HOLOTYPE] (NMNH, Type no. 15408) [The specimen is in good condition being glued by the right side to a card point. Its thoracic patterns is very similar to that of S. veracruzanum. It bears several labels: White label with locality information and date handwritten in black ink; White label with collectot’s name handwritten in black ink; Red label “Type 15408 U.S.N.M.”; White label with red lines around the edges and handwritten in black ink “Simulium trivittatum Malloch”.
